Hello,

I think I have narrowed it down... I also installed FSInn which has not been able to connect either and I have also been getting the same problems on trying to connect just freezes... Well I went to run the DXDIAG. I have noticed that under the network tab under my direct X tests this is what is showing up... Registered direct x service providers Everything checks Ok under the registry on that stuff...

Well the next one Registered Lobbyable Direct Play Applications I have listed. (Flight Simulator) Registry OK File FS9.EXE
(Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004) Registry OK File FS9.EXE. Should I have 2 of them in there that don't make sense. Dunno

Ok well I ran the Test Direct Play... Here is when the problems start...

I run the DirectPlay 8 TCP/IP Service Provider Create New Session... It will run the test I get an error and then my PC Locks up on me... It is like there is an internal communication problem occuring or I have two things in there running at the same time butting heads... I don't know but here is the error I receive afterwards..

*DirectPlay test results: Failure at step 9 (creating session): HRESULT= 0x80158185 (error code)...

I am at a total loss... Should I just re-install the Direct X next and see if that corrects it.. It is obviously not squawkbox that is creating this problem..

P.S. I have recently just installed my Direct X and that hasn't fixed it..

Thanks,

Josh
