Thread: Save Outside Aircraft

  1. Default Save Outside Aircraft

Any sharp FS fellows know if it's possible using active camera to save a flight outside of an airplane, so you restart the flight outside? (probably been asked before, but I couldn't find it)

    Thx and Happy Holidays,

You don't need Active Camera for that. Simply be in Spot View when you save the flight... ;)

You can also save flight with 'Tower View'. While in Tower View, go to 'World', then 'Map', and click on '+' to zoom in, click 'Tower' on upper left, then with mouse click and hold tower and slide to spot at Airport you need/want 'view' to be from (like near to AC) and drop it.

NOW, ck to see what the airport elevation is (let's say 100 ft) and then just ADD 50 ft to elevation (must key '150' in, in bottom square, on left, under co-ordinates). That gives a good tower view, but closer than the 'default' view. Click 'OK' and go save flight (spot, panel, tower view all 'ok' for start up). You don't need Active Cam. You might want 'FlyBy ver 1.4' (the OTHER one). It works good (activiate even during Instant Replay - while in TOWER view, as it is a substitute for tower view- but a 'moving' tower view.
