    Fraps.com
30 seconds filming at a time in freeware with the Fraps logo visible, and unlimited in payware. Can be edited in Windows Moviemaker or better. (It's also a good screenshooter.)
If I may offer a little advice? Film a lot. Throw a lot of it away. Show a little - ie; only the best.

That one from fraps.com looks real cool but I am looking for something that is free that gives more then 30 secs.

    Thanks

You know you can film another 30 seconds, and then another 30, etc. You just have to press your chosen key again, and again, etc. Anyway, 30 seconds is a loooong time for one shot/angle unless there's an awful lot going on.
Have you watched flight videos and you've been itching to change views then realised you can't?

But of course you won't like the fraps.com logo on the screen either.

    Northridge,
If you want to switch views, to cockpit, tower, spot (just like when you are flying 'live', then make a video (FSR) and you WILL be able to switch when you either 'preview' or after saving and loading and playint it. FRAPS will record what you see on screen, just like in replay (which DON'T allow view switching).
    Chuck
(That's ANOTHER (undocumented) thing you can do in FS9! @cb).
(I think I will make this (trademarked :wink) saying my sig-ha).

Napamule - you misunderstood what I was telling him. I suggested that 30 seconds is a long time on screen:
"Have you watched flight videos and you've been itching to change views then realised you can't?"
I meant that I've seen lots of simflight videos (and all sorts of others) with endless shots from the same spot or angle. I know how Fraps works - I just can't explain myself any better.
But he's not interested in Fraps anyway - he wants to have Francis Ford Coppola facilities for free.

I made a 8 min FS 2004 video with FRAPS and it took up 4gigs of HD space, that was with everthing set to max. but you can degrade it to reduce the size.
