Crazy... Shootout at My Local Airport...

Just checking the local news and I ran across this on the front page! Johnson County Exec is the closest airport to where I live and was where I first soloed... Crazy that this stuff could happen so close to home. Wish I was up flying today... There would have been some interesting buzz about that on the radio!

Judging by the METAR history (19016G23KT) runway 18 was the active which is very close to the main road so it wouldn't be hard to get to with the van...
