FS9 default ATC/pilot voices (one in the same)

In my view one of the biggest impacts to the "realism" of FS9 is the lack of accents/cadence/voice intonation with regard to ATC/pilots. Quite a turn off when ATC and the pilot are the same voice.

Currently have Voice Editpack 3.1 and am curious how to add ATC/pilot voices with different accents-Brit/German/French etc? Or, is there any free/payware out there that adds some different voices/accents and is more realistic?

Sorry I am not able to answer your questions.
I'd like to add a thought, though. You are absolutely right: it IS a turn off when the controller and the pilot are the same guy. However: As I was flying FS98, there was nothing at all and I was happy with it. To me, ATC the FS9 way is a wonderful enhancement. It's not perfect (yet?) but it reminds you of the fact that you're not alone up there. I doubt if ATC can be simulated close to reality, without major impacts on the size an cost of the sim itself and the hardware it's running on. Maybe Vatsim is the way to go for those who want better ATC

Hi,

A set of voices is a few thousand wave files.

When Radar Contact 4 is released they will have other voice packs. Yes, real people did record the few thousand files!

If you install traffic 2005 it installs 4 or 5 more voices. Atleast 3 are British voices aswell which makes the game entirely more realistic.
