    Default Flightplans not printing

I cannot print flightplans after generating them in FS2004. This used to work but stopped some time ago. I have two printers which both work normally for other printing and both will not print the flightplan.
Maybe I have a corrupt file somewhere. Can anyone assist?

    Your problem rings a bell.

First I could print, then I couldn't - just stopped.

My memory isn't that clear, but it could be that the problem arose after I installed a second printer.

Then I got a new computer and re-installed FS9, and it started printing again.

I put this down to a clean, "zero-based" reinstallation, but come to think of it, this computer only has one printer installed.

I use Word to open *.pln files, and it works good. YOU HAVE TO CHOOSE 'ALL FILES' in 'type' menu FIRST to see '*.pln' files. Open Word, then browse to 'flight simulator files' and click on the one you want. Not fancy, but the info is there.

Or, you can re-size final printout, so if you want multiple plans on one page, just keep track of height, then input that for 'top margin' (click 'page setup' not 'print') for 2nd plan, then 3rd? Saves paper. ECOLOGY, you know (heehee). Hope this helps.

Glad you can use this 'trick'. I love stuff like this. Like...

There is a program called FLIPS that converts your flight plans to Google Earth format (kml) and when you open plans the Google Earth program will zoom in on your flight plan. Works good. You see a line, with waypoints named, IN COLOR, superimposed on a map, and wherever the mouse is, you will get a co-ordinates read out on bottom status bar. You will need Java Runtime Enviorment v 1.4 (or 'ver 4') and up, plus the Google Earth program. This is just fun. But, interesting.
