have a huge problem...
Just recently I have obtained the PMDG 737, in order to have some additional realism.
Well after many hours, I finally managed to at least understand basic procedures related to FMC and instrument procedures.
But there is one huge problem, that I havent mastered yet with any aircraft model.
Just like with the Bae 3.0 of Matthias, I have a nice panel, nice sounds and nice visual model. But unfortunately all these additional realism gets ruined when I try to land with different types of winds.
I tried to find some tutorial on how to control an aircraft when facing crosswinds and other types during approach and landing.
Usually I have a nice sophisciated flight, which is ruined by an awful landing. When the weather forecast is not clear and winds not calm, then I end up doing some weird moves on approach. Resulting in: missing center line, crashes and continious corrections.. etc..
Unfortunately thats a huge disappointment and I really would like to have some info on what to do at certain wind types. Rudder usage? Deactivate autopilot earlier? Enter approach slightly left or right from runway depending on wind?
Well, as you can read, I am a noob on this matter. Hopefully a professional can help me out by giving links or tips..
PS: I use a simple gravis exterminator dual control
PS2: I apologize if this question has been asked before.. I could not find anything in FAQ though..
With kind regards,
MN
