Thread: Payware Airbus Any Suggestions?

  1. Default Payware Airbus Any Suggestions?

I am looking to purchase software for an Airbus.

    I have read reviews for:

    1. 320 Pilot in Command by Aerosoft
    2. A340 Professional by Just Flight

    Both were not good reviews.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a good payware Airbus?

Aeorsoft has available for download "LTU 2005" which is for A300-320-321 Airbuses. Does anyone have experience with this software?

    Thanks.

I have the Just Flight A340 and rank it as one of my top addons along with the PMDG737 which i also have, the pic a320 is a nasty frame hog. Abacus has a nice looking A380 , i may buy it or the Wilco A380 .

I have the Airbus from Phoenix Simulations. She pushes the envelope where realism is concerned, but she is VERY taxing on the computer.

As far as I'm concerned there is no well-tuned Airbus addon. Actually, let me rephrase that. There is no Airbus addon that combines good looks, faithfully reproduced flight model and avionics, and good performance IN THE SAME WAY the Level-D managed to do with their 767.

I'm also waiting for a proper Airbus.

Now you're probably wondering why I botherd with this post when I didn't have any suggestions.

    I'm wondering too.

    Take care

Yeah the 340 is a little frame hungry also , so the Level-d 767 is good on fps?, hmm, im wondering if i should get that, because what good are the planes if they stutter, obviously.

The 767 is very kind to my machine, but I have an average system (P2.4) and as such it will take punishment from just about any virtual cockpit short of the default aircrafts'. When doing precision flying, in essence following the ops manuals to a T, I fly in the 2D cockpit.

As for stuttering, this can be gotten rid of by turning off the sound card acceleration, but the penalty for that, though not for all aircraft, is a highly compromised sound. When you apply full thrust, one tenth of the engine wav file is looped and it sounds like a machine gun.
