Default A few JFK Airtran shots

Hi everyone, just a few pics I took the other day at JFK. These were taken from the AirTran. For those not from the area, AirTran is a new rail link to and from the airport to the cities subway stations. I was amazed the first time to notice that these things run fully automated, no operater. And they run pretty fast, I'd say at least 65mph. The pics aren't of the highest quality, I didn't have time to edit the size the proper way and they were snapped without a plan.

The Airtran at JFK has got to be one of the easiest ways to get good aviation photos.

Nice shots. If I am correct, I believe it's the Airtrain, not Airtran. I'll be using the AirTrain to take photos from Newark on Thursday, when my dad leaves.

Thanks for the comments guys. You are right Kevin, it is called Airtrain. And yes, the Airtrain is a great way to take shots, the secret I came to find out is not on the train itself but from the stations. The things stops literally everywhere and there is a world of opportunity to take shots. Maybe a few of us locals can get together sometime at JFK for what would make a massive JFK pics post at Flightsim.com! I'll probably head out there sometime next week for some real spotting. This time around I went with no intention of taking pics but I did have my digicam on me and snapped a few shots.
