    Default AFCAD Scenery problem

    Hello simmers;

    I have strange ptoblem with one scenery, I made in AFCAD: it's small airstrip on one Arctic island (Franz-Joseph Land), and it shouldn't pose any problems, however, after the airport was created - runway, taxiway and apron - they seem to move over the surface during fly-by. All elevations are accurate, I used AFCAD before and never had that effect.
    Anybody?

    10x a lot in advance.

    Because of the way FS displays the earth if scenery is too far north or south it can cause this problem. I have seen something on this before just dont remember where.

    Hi,

    Or your airport elevation may not match your AFCAD elevation. Either move the AFCAD elevation down to match the ground elevation, or use a flatten command in the scenery.cfg file to bring the ground up to match your AFCAD elevation.

    For FS98 but still works:

    Hope this helps,

    Thank you very much, it really looks like the runway and other objects are slightly above the ground level. I'll try "flatten".
