Library Newest Files Ordering

Besides ordering by upload time, could a secondary order be established by classification so first all the FS2004 aircraft, then FS2004 scenery, etc., according to the existing classification scheme? That way it would be easier to skip areas that do not apply.

I realise that a newest date cut-off might have to be implemented so we don't get years worth of aircraft before getting the newest scenery listings.

I know it is complex but maybe it can be scripted.

Yes, it is complex. There's virtually an unlimited number of ways that the file library can be sorted. The new files lists are intended to only offer the simplest, most common view of what's just arrived. For people who want something different our search facility will let you create any sort of listing you can imagine.

I have to say that this site in my opinion has an easier way of searching the library. The "other" site I find it almost impossible to find files in the library. Maybe it is a complex thing to set up, but I can usually find what I want here. Just my 2 cents.
