Thread: Help Please...

  1. Default Help Please...

Hi, I build my own Throttle Quadrant. Its a four axis quad and this is my problem...
-When I test them through the windows option I see that the X, Y, and throttle axis moves really fast, I mean I apply a bit of them and they move all the way to the top and back to the bottom as if they where buttons not axis. This doent happen with the Z rotation (or rudder) this axis has a progressive movement (it moves up as I apply or move the pot) What can be happening with the other 3 axis?

    I appreciate your help.

    Hi dilelsos82

Have you tried changing the sensitivities of the axis inside of fs9 to get them closer. Also try when calibrating in windows not moving levers as far, don't go all the way in or out.

I have home built 4 axis using 100k pots, but I am using x-for throttle, Y-for prop pitch and Throttle axis-for mixture and have the z-for my home built rudder peddals, so a little variation is not as important as with throttles.

You might want to place your post in the cockpit builders forum. Probably a lot more experience there.

    Don
