    Default FS 2006

I really hope MS takes into consideration the amount of work involved in loading all the ADDON scenery & aircraft when they compose the new FS 2006. The idea that I will have to do it all over again does not appeal to me one bit. Please. please consider our plight Microsoft when you write the next MSFS 2006. Make it friendly toward existing ADDONS by allowing us to , maybe, just upgrade to 2006 or something similar. Something to where we don't just lose everything in our 2004's. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am very pleased with FS2004 and how it is running on my system now, that I think I'll skip the next release and play with FS2004 for 2 more years.

This gives me the time to enjoy flying, rather than spend another 6 months (or longer) tweaking the new release! And going through the stress of my system not capable of running the new version. A new computer every 2 years for FS is way too expensive.

    Just my thoughts.

It seems a bit swings and roundabouts to me....

If they keep in support for legacy add-ons (a good thing) they can only extend the product so far from what it is now (a bad thing).

Personally, I'd rather lose all my current add-ons if it meant the next release was a quantum leap from this one. After all, there's nothing to stop us still enjoying FS9 once the new one was out (especially if it was a quantum leap that took an extra year to develop).
