I have gotten my hand on this panel from as friend of mine who purchased it not too long back. I love the 737-300 and so need something to fill the gap until the DF737 for FS9.
Its actually not to bad except for one thing - the autopilot. Man is it bad, it is almost too bad to actually use. The reason why I am posting this is to see if anyone else out there has experienced this problem - I'm hoping its something to do with my own FS rather than a general problem:
The autopilot has REAL issues co-ordinating a turn at the same time as a climb or descent. It oscillates wildly from -4000 fpm to 4000 fpm trying to capture an altitude. The other day I was maintaining a platform altitude of 2400ft to intercept an ILS approach, and after the autopilot commanded a subtle turn, wham, the next thing I am in a 4000 fpm ascent, miles above the capture altitude with FS9's ATC having a temper tantrum because I was above assigned altitude.
Do you think this is a problem with the panel, or my FS? I mean, how on earth a problem like this could get beyond beta is beyond me!
Thanks for any replies,
