I just successfully landed my maiden 737 flight from Seattle to San Fran. What an incredible rush. I'm slowing learning ILS landings and it's a blast. :-jumpy

Enjoy yourself up there! Like you said, it is a rush to hit the learning curves in aviation (real-life and virtual) head on and taste small victories as you go. Keep practicing old skills, learn new ones, and use your imagination. Those three combined can keep you involved with/addicted to this hobby for years to come. :-)
Here's a tutorial that really helped me get my head around navigation and built my confidence when flying in IMC:

Happy flying,

Be sure to work through the Flight Simulator flying lessons as they are very helpful. Start at the beginning and work your way up and be sure to read the ground school lessons for the best experience.
Congratulation! Second the motion to go through the lessons.
Have fun.
