what in the world are the friction levers for on the FS turboprops? What does it do, is it modeled???

Friction Levers?????? Can you be more specific??
Usually 4 levers ....2 throttles.....2 condition levers
The only thing i can think your talking about is the friction lock knobs that you find in most jets and turbo props.
You adjust the amount of friction in the lever itself making it harder or easier to move. When you get a good power setting you like you can increase the friction to keep the lever from moving so easy like if you bump it or it vibrates out of place.
Is that what your talking about???
Crj700
That must be it....if you look at the default Caravan, i think you will see the knobs there.

OK,
the Garret T76-G or TPE331 has a friction lever to the right of the 4 other levers and this continuously can change the operating friction on the othet 4 levers which can be useful in turbulence etc
