Hi,
What do you think about Carenado's Bonanzas (B33 and V35) and Piper Archer II ?
Do they really worth money ?

i have the Dakota and Centurian, and i think these are well worth the money. i fancied the Bonanza with the V tail, but have been put of having to buy both the base model and the FS 2004 update (i only intend installing it in FS9), i already have the Flight 1 Archer so do not want or need another. with so many good payware planes comming out one has to be selective. had i already owned these aircraft i would more than likely have paid for the updates as i hapily did with the FSD planes, but then if you did not have the old model you just bought the new one, if you had the old the new model was yours for a reduced price.
I have the F33 Bonanza and it's very good. Very detailed, framerate friendly and flies well. Some cons with it as well: Not many repaints available, and you have to buy both the update and FS2002 version.
I'd only buy the Carenado Bonanza if I absolutely wanted a Bonanza, because of the high price.
It sits somewhere betwen the Archer and the Mooney, and this was exactly what I was looking for. I would have preferd an Arrow III actually, but until someone decides to make a complete Arrow package, the Bonanza will have to do.
I have heard many good things about their C210 so check it out.
If you're looking for an Archer, you should get the Flight1/Dreamfleet Archer instead. It has more features, custom sounds and is considered to be one of the best Flightsim GA planes ever. In addition, it's cheaper, and the FS2002->FS2004 update was free unlike Carenado's which cost like $5.
Thanks for the Archer mention and, yes, it sure did break sales records- blew my mind! Speaking of DF, we'll be starting our Bonanza A36 (delayed, but not forgotten) in the next couple of weeks. Mikko has already begun work on the model, and I'll be photographing the aircraft in the next week or so. I can promise you that the A36 will have a 3D VC/Cabin that is second to none, as I'm pulling out all the stops based on experience gained with the F1 ATR (which we're basically building for them). I want the Bonanza to have a VC that will look almost identical to the 2D views (of course, we'll still include the 2d views for those with performance issues).
Right now I'm also toying with idea of doing an Archer III, as I have access to one, but I'm wondering if there really is much market for it after our Archer II. Maybe an Arrow would be better, or maybe a Diamond Star (I might have access to one of those also).

I really like Carenado's products! They are very well done aircraft.
WOHOO! A DF A36. I'm getting my fathers 'card out now :-lol
Sweet! :7. Heavily looking forward that A36. That Archer III sounds tempting too!

I've purchased the Carenado V35 Bonanza but I'm not very pleased with it. The flight dynamics are not very good. When switching views, there is a long delay with a green screen while the view loads. Itr loads up my system a bit too. The exterior of the model is done fairly well though. I'm comparing the flight model to the actual V35B in which I've accumulated over 350 hours. I did have a V tail for FS98 in which I tweeked the flight dynamics to closly mirror the real thing, but that's been long gone. Been looking for another good one since.
On the other hand (you have different fingers), I can't say enough good things about the Flight1 Archer. With 30 years in Cherokees, I can vouch for the most accurate flight dynamics of any flight sim model I've used. Not to mention the fantastic sound, panel and interior views. Frame rate friendly too.
You can't go wrong withg the Archer.

I've always been very pleased with Carenado's planes. Gorgeous and framerate friendly.
I admit, though, that they need to simply offer the 2004 version for one price and dump the upgrade silliness. - Matt D.
FS9 could really use a good Arrow. (hint, hint) - Matt D.
