Thread: Reflective textures

    Default Reflective textures

Apparently this involves the deep inner workings of Flight Simulator. I'm not sure how, but that's not what i'm here to ask. What i'm wondering is would anybody be willing to make some textures reflective for me? I'd give it a go myself but my program doesn't have the capability to do it. Thanks much

What program would that be? try DXTbmp http://www.mnwright.btinternet.co.uk

This excellent program is now updated, you dont really need a good payware graphic editor, this lets you view the Alpha channel ( reflective / opacity ) so it can be opened and edited with the basic paint program with windows.

Just out of curiosity, which file/airplane are you considering doing?

    Regards

i've actually already done the repaint so the alpha channel is gone... i suppose i could start over... (i really don't know anything about adding reflective textures) what its for is, i think, for the meljet 747.. i'm not entirely positive on that, i'd have to check when i get home... there wasn't any particular reason i repainted the meljet.. i was actually just trying to see if i could do anything at all and then i kept on goin... here's a pic of what i've done

edit: forgot to mention, the paint program i used was photosuite 5 or somethin like that... like i said before, it came with my printer or scanner...
