    I have been out of touch with simming since FS6 & am thinking of getting the latest FS & have seen an advert for FS2004 & another for FS2004(A Century of Flight)they have different prices. Can someone tell me what the difference is between these.

    Thanks

    Far as I know there is only 1 FS2004 (FS9). Are the different prices from different vendors?

    Also, welcome to this great forum.

    Thanks for the response, Budreiser, Raybirch & Jimmig.

    They are both from the same vendor but have different packaging, one looks like a cardboard box with an aircraft which looks as if it is flying towards you & the other is in what looks like a plastic case with an edging round the top.

    There is no difference at all, just make sure that the cheaper version is a genuine product and not a copy. Buy it.... you will be glad you did :]

    It's the same program;
    FS2004 = A Century of Flight (or just "CoF") = FS9 :)

    There is a difference in packaging .... one comes in a nice metal rounded box with hinges and 3d embossed colourized metal image on front. If you think that's cool, get that one. If you don't care, then save a bit of $ with the simpler packaging

    The second is usually in a DVD style case which a lot of software is switching over too. However, usually a vender only offeres one or the other. From what I've seen they usually cost the same for either version.
