Hey.
Does anyone know where to find accurate data for adding aircraft to the FSNavigator "aircraft.ini" file?
I've just started using the BAe 146-200 QT, from Jon Murchison. I have searched the web but I am not finding all the info needed (climb and descent rates, fuel usage, etc.).
For those unfamiliar an entry in the .INI looks like this:
[Avro RJ 85 / BAe 146-200]
withoutash=0
climbspeed=250
climbfuel=3200
climbrate=2000
cruisespeed=270
cruisefuel=1800
cruisealtitude=24000
descentspeed=110
descentfuel=500
descentrate=1700
fuelmeasure=0 <--- "0"= by weight, "1"=by gallons
revision=3
In truth, I did not realize this entry was already there until looking for an example to post :-tongue
(Does it look accurate enough?)
So, forget the 146-200QT. What about other aircraft? The "normal" climb and descend rates, speeds and fuel usage info is hard to find at most sites. I have done a few, myself, through much trial and error but it would be nice to find this info "ready to use".
HMMmm, might be an interesting project...collect and verify the info and store it all somewhere for others to use.
