WHAT CLOUD TEXTURES ARE YOU USING?

Hi there guys! Say, I DL some cloud textures supposedly to increase frame rates but man they are bodgy! Like a twit i didnt save my old ones!LOL! What cloud textures are you guys using as these are really budget (it seems to be only culu... clouds!)

I am using the cloud textures which came with FS9, originally.
Are you saying that you replaced your originals without saving them...somewhere???

You can recover the texture from the original FS9 CD's.

Each FS9 CD contains a number of .cab files. These can be openeed with e.g. WinZip. Inside, you find the FS9 program files. I'm not sure which CD the cloud textures are stored on, so you'll have to search the CDs.

i also replaced my clouds with the lo res versions without backing up, later i got a faster cpu so wanted the originals back, so i just got them of the game CDs. to be on the safe side and to make sure i updated all the clouds with the originals, i just replaced all 14 cirrius and the one cumulus bitmaps

I'm using the default cirrus clouds as they don't really hamper the framerates and look great. I'm using the FSW Hi-Performance cloud textures for the cumulus. They look fine except when you fly right into them, but even then they aren't bad.
