Thread: WING VIEW NEEDED FOR BOEING OF AIRBUS

Default WING VIEW NEEDED FOR BOEING OF AIRBUS

I have been looking for a while for a nice passenger wing view from behind the wing in the cabin. The wind needs to have moving parts like flaps and spoilers.
If you know where I can get this please let me know.
I have a mel jet that has a passenger view from the front of the wing but I cant get a passenger view from the rear.
Needs to be a boeing or airbus aircraft.
    Thanks.

Do you have active camera? you need it to look around the cabin. Try ericks 737. There are lots

Those "wing views" are part of the model itself and cannot be "added" to an existing model.

The best you can do is add "static" pictures for the wing views, or else find a complete model with virtual cockpit and interior.

I've never heard of this phantom Boeing built by Airbus before...the A737 perhaps? http://sgair.net/erick/GRIN1.gif

You don't need active camera to see the wings from the passenger point of view but you do need to make some adjustments to the panel.cfg file. I use the rear_view and Forward_Up view to view the left and right wings from the cabin and the lines below are from my IFDG A320 panel.cfg file as an example. The key entries are the EYE and DIR figures which I arrive at by trial and error until I get the view I want so don't be afraid to experiment with them. The details for each view are _EYE = Left/Right, Up/Down, Fore?Aft. _DIR=Pitch, Bank, Direction (Heading). Most of the latest releases will now give a passenger wing view after a little experimnetation. The BMP file I use is a window frame with a blank view so the model wing will be visible.
