Default Gauges inside the Panel Folder

From what I understand, FS2004 supports Gauges directly in the panel folder rather than dumping them into the default gauges folder.

Could someone a) verify this, and b) let me know if I need to create a gauges folder inside the panel folder or just dump the gauges in the panel folder itself.

    Appreciate your help.

    Oh...

Does this work with sound files as well?

Any tips on keeping the gauges / sound folders cleaner with the new features of FS2004 would be great.

    Safe flying,

    Bob

Gauges in the panel folder have worked for me; not sure about the sound files. BTW, are you the Bob Bernstein that made scenery addons for FS2K/2K2?

Thanks Rick. Should I put them in a folder within the panel folder, or put the .gau files right inside with the panel.

There's two Bob Bernstein's running around in the FS world.
My last "real project" I did was Philadelphia for FS4/FS5.

The other Bob Bernstein is the talented one. :)
