FS2004 in slow real time

Hi,

I am having a very strange effect if I increase my target frame rates above 20fps. The sim runs much slower than real time although the frame rates are quite good.

Even at 20fps it runs at about 90% real time.
Never had this before on any fsim. Using an xp2000+ cpu 512 ram and mx220 nvidia card xp2000 op sys.

Any ideas?

It is a know issue that the clock in FS9 tends to lose time. Try the donation-ware program FS Real Time, it keeps the sim clock in sync with your system clock.
