Thread: Master Switch - Avionics Switch

Default Master Switch - Avionics Switch

    Hi All,

for a little while now I have had a funny problem with the battery and avionics switches in all my planes including the default ones.
It doesn't seem to matter if the switches are in the on or off position any more.
All switches off and the comms still blabber on if tuned to a good frequency and the lights can be turned on as well.
I have FSUIPC 3.2 and the extend option is off as far as I can tell but no matter what the problem is persistent.

Anybody with an idea where to look for a fix...let me know ;-)

search for this switch in your aircraft configs, perhaps you added it or it was added and you didn't know it. If it is there, switch the 1 to a zero, perhaps that will help.

Rather than switch the 1 to a zero, you might be better off either removing that statement or commenting it out. Changing the 1 to a zero might imply that you will *never* have any electricity!

    Hi guys,

thanks for the replies and sorry it took so long to get back.
I have looked through most of my cfgs and no such switch.
And the problem exists with all aircraft in my hangar.
I have rebuild the FS9.cfg file and for one session it seemed to be back to normal and on the next startup the problem was back.
I don't see any difference in the old and new fs9.cfg but of course now they are again behaving the same.

Any more ideas to try ???

Your config file doesn't start out with such a "switch" - you have to add it yourself!
