Hey there.

I'm getting on with doing all the lessons with FS 2004. First of all, can i point out what an absolute trout the examiner is? I'm not expecting a huge kiss on completion of my PPL but something more than 'congratulations, now go away' would be nice.

I'm now doing all the instrument flying lessons, which are really good, and if i ever meet Rod in real life i will shake him by the hand.

My question is this: is there away of increasing the refresh rate of all the main gauges to make instrument flying easier. I've done it all in a real plane and i find the simulator much more difficult because the gauges jump (esp the AI and the DI).

My computer has no problems running the sim, so i guess i'm looking for a line in the config file to just up the refresh rate.

Any help would be much appreciated.

PS. Since i upgraded to catalyst 4.2 on my 9800 pro the waves hitting the shore are just big white triangles. Is this a known glitch?
