I havent been getting any responce for this post, so I will broaden this question a little more.

Still wondering if their are any sim-pilots in Louisiana that like starting or baseing theit GA or airline flights out of this state (LA.) or if their are any real-life pilots in (LA.) that play FS2004
that like doing the same. I would like to hear some stories and/or
input on expereinces they have had in Louisiana. :) :-jumpy

I am from Fort Polk, and I fly around that area every once in a while. I have yet to fly into Leesville airport though. Usually I just fly to Alexandria or Fort Polk. Then I head south towards Houston and New Orleans where there's more scenery to see...

Flying into Leesville is easy, Ther is no landing fee but their are
obstructions, runway 18 has one tree and the treelines are close at
runway 36. I had to make an emergentcy landing their due to hail
during a severe T-storm about 3 months ago when I made a flight from
Watertown, NY. to Leesville, LA. in a C208B Grand Caravan. It took 7 hours and 29 min. I had some cloudy wether and a lot of turbulence in
Ohio, it was fine till the T-storm just north of Polk.

I did all this in FS2004 of course. :)

:-lol There problably arent a lot of people in LA. that like flying into Leesville Airport (L39) Evean when I go out their I find that its a gost town, their are a couple of people that live on the airport property and I think one of them owns a plane their but I dont know who. Traffic at a bare minimum here at L39. :-lol But I here the city is going to fund money to improve the facility and services. Equipment, larger hanger, 1500 ft. runway increse and hopefully someone who is qualified to instruct. I dont know, it may not ever happen. :-roll
