That movie is at the top of my "Goofiest movies ever made list". When flying low over water and you see something sticking up out of water, pull back on stick.

Personally, I'd rather fly the Columbia 747 with a cross-eyed Karen Black as copilot, screaming "Help us, please, please help us!" everytime I press the tailhook key.

Based on the responses you have gotten so far, I think it is safe to say that the answer is "No". I also have to agree with the rest of the guys, that movie was terrible.
