Is there a way to change this?

Whenever I fly IRF, ATC always has me approach the airport so that I have to make a right turn to get lined up on final, but I notice that AI aircraft fly straight in. Is there way to change this so that I may fly straight in also?

Fly VFR (or cancel your IFR flight plan once at the airport) and then get lined up with the runway before contacting the tower. You'll get a straight in approach every time.
