Get it! This is an awsome package and is worth the download time. Get it, get it and get it!

This is indeed a beautiful plane. The folks who worked on her did a fantastic job. There are also TONS of repaints for it already. Here's one I did.

I already got that one installed Don. Nice work ;)

It reminds me that I have to do the reflectin adjustment on the windshield BMP. I'm getting too much. But the doggie works just fine. WIsh they included him in the VC. Nice craft.

I agree that it's a wonderful plane. Can you please tell me, where are the TONS of repaints to which you make reference? And, is your repaint available as well?

    Thanks in advance.

It is a pretty impressive bird. Use to fly one similar to it which was restrictd with a photography bombsite for a camara to take mosaic landscape pictures.

The only thing strange to me in the downloaded aircraft is the compass, which has a shortcut Icon. I see the place outlined for its placement on the centerpost, but do not see the compass after pressing the icon, nor do I find the gauge anywhere in the panel.cfg. I did go ahead and insert the FS2004 172 default compass in its place (permanently), but don't know whether the referenced compass was missing in my download, or missing in the design.

Is this gauge absent in everybody else's download, or is it just something I am missing?

    Love that DOG!

Actually, same problem here. No compass in the panel.cfg file.
Someone should notify the designer or offer a good fix to the file library.

Please forgive my ignorance and this just for a quick reply - where can I find it? can some kind soul post a link? payware or a freebie - guess I should look in the library first but from the shots looks like a payware (not that I have any problems with that!). OK so I'm feeling extra idle this morning, just out of bed! (excuse for the day)

Thanks guys!! Mine is at Avsim, and so are many others. Do a search for 195, and sort by date. Mine is also available at my site. www.avsim.com/alaska

I'm assuming you are referring to the overly shiny glass when using reflections. How can you "tone" that down? I don't have paint shop pro. is it possible to use something like DXTbmp and save the glass as another type of bmp?
