Default What airliner would you not want to get on?

If it's not Boeing I'm not going has been said alot, but seriously, what airliner would you not fly in or avoid? I for one had doubts with the MD 80's after the Alaska Airlines crash and also with the 737's known rudder problems. It appears that investigation of these two revealed the problems and steps were taken to remedy the causes of malfunction. Now here is an airliner I am hesitant to get on, the A300's. We have an overseas company and a domestic airline tossing the blame back and forth on each other as to why the thing disintegrated in mid-air, yet the aircraft is still flying, despite reports of pilots that at one point didn't even want to fly the aircraft. My favorite airline is American, I love the 757 and MD83 travel to Seattle, but I was thinking of going to Ecuador, and AA uses the A300 for that destination.

I try to avoid flying on Airbus products. I'm not a fan of the planes they make.

I personally could care less what i fly on.. As long as it gets me there. I care more about the airline that i fly on vs the airplane i fly on. Mind you, there hasn't been a Major US accident in the airline industry in over 2 years now. I feel perfectly safe flying on our airplanes. I don't count small crashes as major.

I feel safe on any plane/jetliner as long as I know that the pilots are competant and the plane has been maintained. Unsafe planes don't get certified...

Aww man I love the look of those shorts from pictures I've seen, but have never had the opportunity to fly them :(. Does American Eagle still operate them or are they completely phased out? Maybe I need to travel to a third world country so I can try one out.

Most planes out there I would be happy to fly in. It's mainly the older ones that are still in service I would feel unsafe in:

    The 747-100/200
    The 737-100/200/200 Adv

.....basically anything over 20 years old.

If it isn't Airbus, it is alright in my opinion. That's even more so I feel now that we know what sort of ties Airbus Industries has with certain Southwest Asian entities.
