i changed the texture bandwith in fs9.cfg to 400 but .................

I still get a delay with my scenery loading. Example i take off the second i'm airborne and look out the left or right window i see the scenery loading i see squares and then the scenery pops up. It lasts 1/2 a second but still very annoying. Should i keep the bandwith line at 400 or put it back at 40. What else can i do? my card is an ati radeon 9800 128mb pro. Thank you in advance.

Do you cycle your views while sitting on the runway before takeoff. You need to do that to load the views into memory. I'd Leave the band_width_mult at 400 for now.

I'm sure i look out the windows to look for traffic but it still happens once i'm in the air. I'll make sure i leave it at 400 (bandwith) mult. Is there anything else that i should do?? By the way i didn't restart my computer after changing 40 to 400, does that make a difference?? I did restart the sim. Does the fact that i didn't install the cloudpatch make a difference and that i'm running the sim on a 15' 800x600x32 screen resolution? Any more help greatly appreciated!
