    Default Lights at Non-controlled airports

If I'm not mistaken there is a way to turn on the runway lights at non-controlled airports. I don't remember how to do this, can someone please help.
    Thanks

Tune in the traffic freq. and click the mic I think 4 clicks to turn it on; then you can step it up and down with additional clicks.

You cant do this in FS of course.

Welcome to the forums BTW. Sorry I don't remember the amount of clicks, hehe. Im sure Jeff S KDTW would know, he's good at that stuff. :-tongue

Too bad we can't do that in FS9. You could do that way back in Flight Unlimited 2 ;-)

    Touché! Good one!

Hey I love FS9 as much as everyone else, but I still think the FU series were great for their time..

I won't get into a one sim vs the other discussion... I've read plenty of those over at the Avsim forum :)

Well thanks for the welcome and the info. :) I'm really an old member who just got back into MSFS with FS9, work and life in general has kept me ground sim and real life :(. But now that I have some time as winter is here I can get back into this. :)
Anyway, I thought you used to be able to turn the runway lights on in FS2002 or one of them.....ummmmmmm my bad.
    Anyway, thanks again,

Is there any chance someone could make an addon to implement ARCAL systems?

At one time there were couple scenery's made that had this, you tuned a com freq and runway light came on. Been a while but Cris Wilkes Virgin Island scenery had this feature at couple apts.
Not sure which scenery appl or if all had it to enable rwy lights but only for add on scenery.

I agree. I moved from FS98 to FUII and FUIII and skipped FS2000 entirely. I came back to the fold after FS2002 which was a truely fantastic product. I'm also a big fan of FS9 now with its greatly improved Autogen and ATC (among other things) although it's a bit buggier than FS2002 was. I would also like to see PCL implemented at uncontrolled airports with lighting. I wouldn't think it would be too difficult. They just need to add the option in the ATC menu for the airports that use it.
