    Default FFG DC-10 compatibility with FS2004

    Hi, this questionhas probably been asked before, but did someone installed the FFG DC10 BasePack in FS2004 and did it work well????

    Is the behavior of the aircraft as it should be or some .air file editing needs to be done???? So far there are only 3 or 4 repaints for that aircraft for 2004...No American Airlines...

    Thanks for the info...

    Don't know about the FFG version working or not. Go get the FFX version from Stewart Global aircraft! It is excellent!!

    Go to the flightsim file library and search for these base files:

    ffxg103e.zip <=DC-10-30ER

    ffxg1030.zip <=DC-10-30

    There's more than enough repaints for these excellent aircraft. You can also get other variations, like the 10, 15, 40, etc. series.

    I'd recommend just getting the FFX DC-10, the quality of it is amazing!

    keaja,
    Which DC-10 panel are you using? I downloaded one that looks good, but i can't adjust the radios for some reason, so I need a new one.

    Any suggestions?

    None of the FFG DC-10's/KC-10's will not work correctly in FS9. They are FSDS 1 planes. Actually, I haven't come across ANY FFG planes that are FS9 compatible. Pretty sad because the FFG KC-10 was a very nice model.

    Now, the FFX/SGA DC-10's on the other hand seem to work alright in FS9 and look pretty dang good. The only thing lacking is an FFX KC-10.
