Thread: Setting TO Gauge Power?

  1. #1

    Default Setting TO Gauge Power?

    Is there anyway to adjust the power setting for the takeoff gauge?

    On some of my third party aircraft, (probably all FS2002 conversions), if I use autothrottle/togau for takeoff, my power is a bit weak. There is ample power with full power by simply opening the throttle manually. Is there a line somewhere in the aircraft.cfg or airfile which can be reset to increase power for this function without upsetting the other power settings?

    Thanks:

    There are some settings for Autothrottle TO/GA under autopilot in the aircraft.cfg file but nothing that seems to control how much power is set.

    There is an entry in the Aircraft.cfg which does affect the amount of power available when using TOGA or Autothrottle.

    The entry is in the <Autopilot> section and is this :-

    autothrottle_max_rpm = 90

    Try changing or adding this setting to your aircraft.cfg
