Default THE CONE THAT GOES UP INTO SPACE

Has anyone been to N5.29.08 W60.38.83 and seen this thing ?
I don't know how to take screenshots but it's vast and just rises up to a point as sharp as a needle. It's totally incredible.
I got to it by going to Venezuela and slewing around a bit watching the coordinates in red at the top of the screen. It's near the Venezuelan border or just over the border from Venezuela or somewhere like that. I don't know all those countries round there. Start of at an airport in Venezuela anyway and you won't be too far away.
You can crash into it and it shunts you up and up and up if you get it right. Try flying a Piper Cub at 42,000ft !
At the side of it are chasms that seem to go down into the earth for miles and miles.
If anyone is cleverer than me and CAN take screenshots of this thing, no doubt you will wish to post them ?

Well, I can't help you with the cone thing ( not able to load up FS at the moment....long story ); however, I can help you with your screen shot problem.

Best thing to do, is to check out Jeff S' excellent tutorial on how to take and post screen shots. Very easy to follow. You can find it in the Screen Shot Forum, or by clicking [b][link:www.flightsim.com/dcforum/DCForumID8/27670.html|Here]

Or better still = get the Print Screen utility that does it all for you.

that and/or others like it (yes there are others) were found, and screenshots posted when FS9 first came out, the problem was also cured for the at that time discovered anomilies. Not sure if "your mountain" was fixed but it did mention 3mile deep holes in the ground among other things.

the name of the file is "elevfix.zip", if you wish to cure the problem do a search for th efile in the file liberary here.

No I don't want to cure the problem. I think it's fantastic !

This one was fixed in the elevfix.zip file.

Edit: Oops, I boobooed! It's not. There were several elevation errors that came to light after elevfix was issued. This must have been one of them. I just remembered that this pinnacle was mentioned on the board a while back.
