Default Default Stars More Realistic in certain situations then real stars...

ok, i live in north vancouver, and we got a lot of suburbs out here in the lower mainland, ATLEAST 12, so that makes for a lot of city lights. anyways i went out last night looking for mars, and i could barely see any stars, because of the city lights. so i feel that in big citys like vancouver, toronto, newyork etc, the default stars are more realistic. although i'm not trying to take anything away from realstars i use it and will continue.

Yes, but even in those cities, or any big city - once you get a few thousand feet up, that just don't matter! The sky comes alive! :7

Correct. Get above the haze layer and light pollution of the cities and burbs and the stars are truly magnificent. Night flying is actually quite enjoyable when one wants to star gaze. Granted, you've got to keep you eye out for traffic, but even that is easier to see at night...usually.
