Hello,
I was wondering if a 2.4GHz processor that I would get for $50 is good enough to run fs9 with the settings all set in the middle and how much improvement is it over a standard 1.0GHz processor?

Hmmm
If you can get a functioning one for $50, and your MB can handle it, then I would say it is worth the change...but do a bit of research to be sure that your MB can take it.
Hey buc I'm runnin off of a 2.4 and she works just dandy, however, I want a dandier one I'm going to upgrade my mb/proc. very soon, and as far as an improvement its going to be huge compared to 1ghz, but as was stated in the previous post, make sure your motherboard can accept the 2.4, good luck!

This is one of my favorites, works in every version I've tried it in FS98 through FS2004.
Ummm...
Ok...what does this have to do with the initial thread?
I think he was looking at the previous poster's sig(?)...

Try Bill Lyons' Cub package recently released as freeware (originally payware for FS2002). Though they're all versions of the original Cub, the clipped wing Cub cruises along at a good clip and is a heck of a lot of fun to fly.
