Thread: CH Products USB Yoke and Pro Pedals USB Order in Control Panel

  1. Default CH Products USB Yoke and Pro Pedals USB Order in Control Panel

When I look at the Control Panel in XP, the pedals are listed first and then the yoke. When I had Windows 98, it was the other way around. This makes no difference in FS9. In DXDIAG, the Yoke has Controller ID 0 and the pedals have 1.

The trouble is, some older games see only the pedals in XP where before it was the yoke that they saw. Those games that do not recognize two controllers only see the pedals.

If I unplug the pedals, then it is fine. The games see the yoke and it can be used to control the games. It doesn't help to switch the order of the way they are plugged in.

FYI, I also have a USB mouse and printer.

Is there a way to change this so that the yoke is listed first again? Thanks!

In the game controller control panel there is an Advanced radio box, it will let you choose the controller for older games.
Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't the 'older' games sometimes did/do not play well with XP DX8.1-9b.

You could just unplug the pedals when you play older games. They will calibrate themselfs when you plug them in, so its not a big deal.

Not that I am aware, it is based on alphabetical order... p before y.

    Sorry,
