Well I am absolutely bedazzled. Just got my copy of fs9 today. I played 2002 for a long time and loved it but this is just outstanding. I do think the most amazing change is how the dynamic weather adds to the atmosphere of flight. The clouds are a hit on frames for sure though!!! Looking forward to flying into a hurricane now.
When I tested her out at first I did a little trip into time of my own. In june, I flew home to virginia from south korea where I am stationed, and part of the flight in the northwest 747-400 took us directly over the aleutian islands. (forgive my spelling). I remember looking out my window. The look of everything. The horizon, which was a sunset, the ground scenery, and topography were all very visible. As far as the clouds, I didn't remember seeing alot of clouds up there, but for the sake of fun I put some in fs9. It definitely added to it. As I flew (in fs9) I was amazed at how realistic it looked and felt. Simply incredible. Of course I was an embarrassment to pilots everywhere when I landed 100 meters short of the runway in anchorage. DOH!!!! Im gitting better though. Cant wait to get an add-on 747. Maybe a new computer too.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to ways of keeping a steady fps
