Active Sky 2 will have it, but we are still in development stage.
    Watch: http://www.hifisim.com/ for further developments.
    Thanks,

Jim: am I missing the point here? I have weather radar using ActiveSky wxME on the FSFlightMax. How will your system differ from that?

I Have FS FlightMax as well, but dont get any WX to show.... I am using the newest version of FSU, do you need to have it registered( ie pay?)... I would really like to know what I have to do so that it will work in 04...thanks in advance!

Now when I get it working, it would be nice to be able to deviate around buildups etc. Guess Ill have to wait for the new build from RCv3 so I can get my real ATC back again:-)

I know, but with Active Sky 2 weather radar will be a part of it along with a host of other new features all built into a single add-on. Nothing wrong with your set-up!!
    Thanks,

    Jim

I have a registered copy of the new FSUIPC so really do not know if that is necessary for you in FS9. Have you visited the FSFlightMax and FSGarmin forum over at Avsim? There is plenty of information and expertise that would assist in getting your wx to work.
Make sure that your FSFlightMax.ini file has the entry:
(ActiveSky) ... these are square brackets but don't work here and under that:
ActiveSkyDirectory=C:\Program Files\ActiveSky wxRE\.... if that is the location of your ActiveSky installation also note the correct backslash at the end of the entry.
In your ActiveSky options screen make sure that "Export METARS for FSFlightMax" is checked and that the box just below "wx Export Path" shows the correct path e.g :
C:\Program Files\ActiveSky wxRE....... note no backslash at the end.
    Good luck

I just installed my flightmax in to 2004... i have the base version and the 1.4 update of Flightmax. When I look in the folder, all i see is a uninstall utility. Is the ini file a hidden file or what? Help!
