well, I'd suggest to buy one of them first, and the other one later.
Archer was made earlier, if chronology is of importance.
Archer first, because its better. No, I dont know, they are both nice. For me, all it came down to was whetther i was a cessna or a piper fan. Piper fan I am ....WOOT!

Can you say one of them is better?
Michel
I prefer the cessna i find it to be better looking and i like the flight dynamics of the aircraft.
coops
I have the Cardinal, which means you get the 177B and the 177RG, but i guess it depends where you will be flying and what one you like the best. Scince i fly in the idaho backcountry a lot i got the 177 for the RG modle, i wouldnt fly an archer into some of those strips. Plus i like the cessna 177 better in terms of looks. But i wouldnt worry about which one is better cause they are both from dreamfleet and that means you are getting a quality aircraft.
I personally love the Archer. It is slower to fly, very forgiving, the panel is absolutely exquisite. You'll probably end up buying both of them. I only fly Dreamfleet products in flight simulator now that I've been spoiled.
Thank you guys, I bought the Cardinal, I already love it. After the 737 my second Dreemfleet product. Those guys make our hobby a truly great experience.

Michel
Nice choice.. i bet you will be very happy with it! I know i am.
Thanks for the purchase, and for the kind remarks. :-)
We hope to have the free FS2004 update for the Cardinal out within the next 7-10 days, if not sooner.
