  1. Default Real World Weather problem. PLEASE RESPOND!!!

when i download real world weather, most of the time the weather is as follows:

    visibility: 50 miles
clouds: scattered (or sometimes it's clear)

what is this? is the real world weather always 50 miles visibility??? i think not. the clouds are alwasy scattered. my main airport that i fly out of is LAX. real world weather tells me that LAX has 50 miles of visibility. now come on, everyone knows that LAX never has 50 miles of visibility. i flew in there in real life just a month ago and the captain said there was 10 miles of visibility. i'm just wondering if anyone else has had this problem, or is it just me. let me know if you know anything. Thanks guys. my system specs are as follows.

    AMD XP 1.8
    WinXP
    ATI Radeon 8500 128 driver version 6.14.10.6368
    512 DDR ram
    ATA 133 120GB hard drive

It is real world weather, but they didn't say where this enchanted world was where the weather changes once a month. Try one of the other weather program$ FsMeteo, or WxRE. They aren't perfect either. They are limited by the strange gap filled clouds of FS9, and MS preoccupation with the haze/fog effect, but still better than the default.

50mi visiblity, ha! ,I grew up in Glendora two miles from the foot of the san gabrial mountains and we couldn't see those 80% of the time.

We're having a heat wave here and I downloaded real world weather to see that apparently it was raining, overcast and windy.

Seems more real if I just set it up myself and saves me the bother of wasting time with a "random weather generator"

What's the point of having an internet cache feature then ?

  7. Default RE: Real World Weather problem. PLEASE RESPOND!!!

For webpages which stay the same most of the time.

  8. Default RE: Real World Weather problem. PLEASE RESPOND!!!

Also for faster loading of web pages with large images/placeholders and sounds etc that don't change much. Many sites benefit from these feature.

My point being the solution to the problem is to the detriment of an integral, useful feature of Internet Explorer. Not much a solution in my opinion. Patch it MS and be done.
