Visual Flight Path in FS2004 HELP!!!

Hey All! How's everyone going out there today? Hope I can get some help here. I've been trying the visual flight path for FS2004, and lately when I have it turned on, it shows up for the ILSs on the runways and all that, but then stops. Isn't it supposed to show your route for the entire flight? Hope someone can please help me with this....

I thought it only showed the path to the next waypoint. I haven't used it in years, but it use to only work when you had the next station tuned in on the NAV 1 radio.
