Solution for FPS problem near airports

I guess I got it, after trying to fix it in every way I focused my attention on the sound card, because I read that probably that was the cause of the problem.
After trying a bit I reduced one notch the direct sound acceleration, and this worked for me.
You can find this setting in CONTROL PANEL\SOUND AND AUDIO DEVICES\ADVANCED (in the speaker settings) \PERFORMANCE

have the same probs and lot of ppl more (http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?...d=134295&page=) ... maybe it's a bug of FS2004 comunicating with dx9 directsound ... have the SB Audigy too but no time to test now ... have to investigate more but thx for now Death_Knight :)
