    Default LearJet avionics switch

I'm trying in vain to find how to switch on the avionics in the LearJet? Please advise.

    Bernard,

The Lear has no avionics master switch per se, but an easy fix is to assign a keystroke that function through the joystick assignment menu.

I set mine up as follows:

"control plus left bracket" = Master Battery

"control plus right bracket" = Master Avionics

This way, whether or not an aircraft has an actual switch, you'll always be able to control it from your keyboard.

Another option is to edit your panel.cfg and include an avionics switch into the aircraft. The default 737, Cessnas, Mooney, Extra, Baron, Kingair, and 777 have avionic switches that can be "borrowed" if thats your preference.

E-mail me at brianmacmillan2@comcast.net and I'll be happy to send you the Lear panel with an added avionics switch.

    Cheers!

    Brian

    Brian,

I was trying to recall and didn't the Lear 45 in FS2000 have an avionics switch? Seems like it was removed when FS2002 came out. I wonder why this was?

Do you know anything about my question in this thread Brian?
