Help! Fs2004 not installing!

I've just tried to install FS2004 and I get the error message that is shown in the attached screenshot.

If I click "Ignore", another file comes up with the same problem. I've tried doing both a full and express install.

Any ideas??

p.s. No, my drive is not full....and there's nothing else accessing my cd drive.

Do you have FS2002 still installed? If so, this could possibly interfere with the installation of certain fs2004 files.

Yes, I still have the 2002 installation. I'm going to uninstall that now.

Hmmmm, I have both of them working fine here and I had no installation problems. They are of course installed to different locatins as this erson was doing.

Any other ideas?! I'm desperate to play this.

I would check to see that all of the FS9 files are removed or deleted, defrag the HDD and also maybe try installing to another location.

Another option if you have the HDD space. It might install if you copy all 4 disks to your HDD and install the program from there.

Last resort, take it back and replace the program. You could have a bad FS2004 disk.

I've already tried all of those options to no avail :-(

I think I might go cry now....

Actually, I clicked Ignore on about 7 files, then the installation started to continue normally....

Hopefully there are no negative repurcussions from not intallation those files. They seem to be only little things like "credit.rtf".
