Just thought I'd share with this forum that FS2002 add-on scenery seems to be importing just fine into FS9. The only problem I have seen so far is that exact airport coordinates are slightly different so when you import your FS2002 airport add-on into FS9 all will be fine except planes may be placed way off target, depending on airport (upon choosing a runway in the set-up screen, and all AI traffic and gates).

Framerate punishment seems to be the same as in 2002 for each add-on.

I've tried this with BIKF (Keflavic, Iceland), LGAV (the new Athens airport, in Greece) and LGMK (Mikonos, Greece) so far. The 2002 add-ons are accepted perfectly and the flatten existing scenery files that are included in the 2002 add-ons also seem to work fine in FS9. At BIKF and LGMK the FS9 runways and gates posotions are way off the mark when the add-on is on place.

Also I tried the new Ttool04 from the Project AI site and it works perfectly. I was able to add an AI flight just fine.

One bit of warning: The new unsuported Tttool04 is looking for a file called traffic030409.bgl

It seems that later FS9's came with a different name for that file. In my release that file was called traffic030528. I named a copy of that as traffic030528BACKUP, and renamed the origonal traffic030409. Ttool04 was then able to extract and import just fine.

Anyone has any latest news on AFCAD for FS9? We NEED it!!
