    Default airports

    does anyone have a problem in fs2004 with airports looking wavey in the distance? i have nvidia fx5200 with 128 meg of ram and direct x 9 compatible. all other items clouds etc. look great when you get up close the airport looks great.

    yes, i hate it. might be my graphics card (radeon 8500) but hell it sux. i gotta update! i cant even tell where the airport is

    I think I had the same problem.
    Geforce 4Ti4600
    XP2000
    res 1600x1200

    Set Mip mapping Quality to 5 and my problem was solved

    I have a Geforce Ti200 128 MB ASUS card and I had the same problem with the "fuzzy" unclear look, especially in the distance. Mip Mapping level set to 4 resolved that issue. Mip Mapping is in the setting folder, under the hard ware tab on the right hand side. It is a slider and you can manually adjust the settings.
