LAST EDITED ON Jul-10-03 AT 03:10AM (EDT)[p]You know what? I'm sick of hearing all these poor pathetic people complaining about a FIFTY dollar item that they haven't even seen!! $50 dollars is 3 cases of beer for crying out loud!!
Here's the deal:
1. If you don't want it, like it, need it, think MS is money hungry (by the way, name me a corporation that isn't), clouds are too big, clouds are too small, i don't get sucked out of my chair when I open the door, there no stewardesses, THEN DON"T BUY IT!!! GO BUY THE OTHER ONE!!!! Some add-ons are $50, an add-on for pete's sake!! You know how much easier it is to make an add-on then to map an entire globe and it weather systems?!!! **** Microsoft MADE the flightsim community, you and me!! ****
Every one of you ingrates should send me an email thanking me for bringing FS to the world AND deciding to continue with better ones every few years. It's not as profitable as those first person shooters that seem to have a new version every 6 months.
If my product is so bad then go program your own FlightSim on a Linux box with your opera browser and berkenstocks!!
DON"T BUY IT IF YOU DON"T WANT TO SUPPORT IT OR MS!!!! SIMPLE!!!!
The negativity of some posts make me SICK!!!
2. If you like a quality flight simulator with incredible features and a dev team that is willing to listen to the flightsim community year after year, in order to get new functions, then buy FS2004. Yearly, millions of pleasurable hours are spent by fantastic people flying their virtual planes into the "wild blue yonder". Every night at 8pm, computers whir up and the virtual skies fill with Americans, Europeans, Asians, Africans, Aussies and every other nation of the world. It's not perfect, it's not designed by The Lord (however, some people say I am as close to a deity as a man can get), it's made by humans. Simple, imperfect humans that learn from their mistakes and do better next time.
I thank all of you positive people that love Flight Simulator for what it is, an adventure into the human spirit and imagination.
Thanks for listening,
Bill
